The Sacraments and Sick Calls

 

Baptism

                Baptisms are on Sundays at 12:30 or during the 11:30 AM Mass. Sponsors must be practicing Catholics and need a Certificate of Eligibility from their own Pastor. Parents must atend a Pre-Baptisimal class prior to the birth of your child. Classes are held by appointment. Parents must be registered members of the Parish for at least six months.

Confessions

                Confessions are normally during the hour before Mass on Saturday ending 15 minutes prior to Mass. This changes with the time from EST to DST.

Saturday: 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM DST and

Weddings

                Arrangements should be made by the couple contracting six months to one year prior to the desired date of marriage. The couples should have attended the Diocesan Sacramental Program for Marriage. One of the parties must be a member of the Parish for at least six months before the arrangement can be made.

 

 

First Penance, First Eucharist and Confirmation

                Though immediate preparation is given to children before receiving these Sacraments, children are expected to receive a Christian upbringing in their family life, to attend religious education classes in the years prior to receiving these Sacraments.

Sick Calls

                Anytime, day or night. If there is anyone at home who cannot attend Mass and the Sacraments because of illness or old age, please call the rectory.
